apt Sedant Holding GmbH becomes apt Holding GmbH

Since 03.08.2021, apt Sedant Holding GmbH has been operating under its new name, apt Holding GmbH. With its change of name, the company is detaching itself from the name of its former shareholder. At the same time, it is continuing to reflect its function as the parent company of the group.

In 2020, the apt Group found a new shareholder, the Chinese Inner Mongolia Mengtai Group Co, Ltd. This is also reflected in the name of the apt holding company. From now on, apt Sedant Holding GmbH is known as apt Holding GmbH.

With the name change, our shareholder has highlighted our independence and our connection to the corporate group as a whole. apt stands for alu product technology.”

apt Holding GmbH controls and plans the strategy of its subsidiaries. With central functions in the fields of finance, IT, research & development and metal management, the group holding is supporting its subsidiaries in the execution of the predefined strategy on a subject-specific basis and develops the corporate group further.

In the future, the group intends to play an active role in the market consolidation. The topic of sustainability is also firmly anchored in the corporate strategy and has a long tradition in the group. apt Group will continue to contribute its know-how and solution expertise to customer projects, true to its strategy “Essential parts. Essential partners.”, and integrate new technologies, processing and process steps into its business.
