Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Supporting social projects

Social involvement corresponds to our company values

As a company group, we are committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We assume social responsibility and get involved in the regions surrounding our production locations. The social involvement is also clearly anchored in our values. We enter into partnerships and support each other mutually. Each year, we donate to local organisations and make charitable projects possible.

Modern Slavery Statement

apt strives to meet the highest ethical, social, and environmental standards. We have established clear standards in our code of conduct and the supplier code of conduct to protect against any form of forced or child labor. apt considers forced labor as a subcategory of human trafficking and addresses it with a zero-tolerance policy upon detection. These fundamental principles form the foundation of apt’s values and are consistently implemented within our group and throughout the entire supply chain.

Sterntaler Düsseldorf

In Germany, for example, we support the organization “Sterntaler Düsseldorf” in the region of Monheim am Rhein, which helps infants, children and young people in need.

Making children laugh

In Eckental (Bavaria), we support the “Ein Kinderlachen schenken” campaign by Eckental children’s aid, which comforts sick children with teddy bears or organises clown appearances.

International social projects

We are socially engaged in other locations outside of Germany:

  • Children’s cancer aid KiKa in Amstelveen (NL)
  • St. Georg’s hospice (CZ)
  • Social car project (CZ)

Baskettball Spieler

Streetball court in Monheim

Social involvement is omnipresent in our company group. This is why we played a big part in setting up a streetball court in Monheim. A place that residents and apt employees alike can use.

Logo Lange Nacht der Industrie

Lange Nacht der Industrie (Industry open night)

At events such as the Lange Nacht der Industrie, our German extrusion plant opens its doors and gives visitors a tour “behind the scenes”. This allows interested citizens to experience the exciting activities of aluminium processing live, to obtain information and to ask questions. Social involvement is also clearly anchored in our values. We enter into partnerships and support each other mutually.

We support local educational institutions

We contributed to the foundation of the new Bregenzer Straße primary school in Baumberg (Monheim) in the form of educational toys to support the children. Supporting local educational institutions and projects is close to our hearts because we are also investing in a solid education for possible colleagues of tomorrow!

Thinking about apt at university lunch

Through impulses from technical, university research, we can acquire holistic competences. That’s why we work closely with researching universities in the industrial sector such as RWTH Aachen University. For example, we participate in the first-year bags at the start of our potential young students’ studies and contribute practical lunch boxes with an aluminium look.
