The apt Group is one of the leading groups of companies in the European aluminum industry. We develop and manufacture technologically sophisticated aluminium extrusion profiles and mechanical processing of aluminium, which we supply to renowned customers in the construction, transport, automotive and industrial sectors. Our manufacturing processes cover the entire value chain – from the raw material to the end product. With in-house remelting capacities, six extrusion lines, a state-of-the-art further processing facility, two anodizing plants and a powder coating plant as well as passivation options, apt offers a broad range of expertise.

Automated production

apt produces series components as well as technically sophisticated individual pieces in a one-piece flow. With our four production plants in Europe, we offer a wide range of aluminum profiles and components as well as a product portfolio that extends to the fully assembled product and/or system.

Manon Gahmann

Director CSR & Compliance

Manon Gahmann has been with the apt Group since 2016 and has been responsible for CSR and compliance since 2023.

Its task is to strategically align the organization with the constantly changing requirements in the area of CSR and compliance and to make it future-proof. At the same time, it drives a regular internal debate on relevant social issues.

Manon Gahmann is originally from the Netherlands and moved to Germany in 1998 after years in the USA and France. She is married and the mother of two children.

Chief Executive Officer

Ao Bo is Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia Mengtai Group Co. Ltd, a privately owned company based in Ordos, Inner Mongolia (China). With over 7,500 employees, the group achieved a turnover of around 5.8 billion euros last year.

The Mengtai Group is a modern corporate network with diversified, complementary and circular business areas. It combines research and development, the production of new aluminum alloys, the development of wind and solar energy, and the high-quality research and utilization of aluminum-rich fly ash.

As a shareholder of the apt Group, Ao Bo assumes the role of CEO and is committed to further strengthening the company’s market position in the European aluminum market.

Oliver Reichel

Chief Human Resources Officer

Oliver Reichel started his career in HR after completing his master’s degree in economics with a focus on HR management at the University of Frankfurt.

Since then, he has spent more than 20 years in human resources in various sectors of multinational companies and has held leadership positions in global teams in a rapidly changing environment.

Oliver Reichel has an extensive international background and is used to working in agile organizations. He has gained experience in the implementation of M&A and restructuring processes and had a strong focus on the digitalization of HR processes.

He lives with his family near Monheim.
