New tool stain in Roermond: Significantly lower water consumption thanks to state-of-the-art technology

Published on: 5. January 2024

For us, sustainability means using resources as efficiently as possible and continuously reducing our environmental impact. We have now taken an essential step at our plant in Roermond, where a new, state-of-the-art tool pickling line has been put into operation that significantly reduces water consumption.

At the heart of the system is the use of grey water – i.e., water that has already been used and can be fed back into the process after special treatment. This integrated rinse water treatment significantly reduces the amount of fresh water required and thus contributes to a noticeable conservation of resources.

Further advantages of the new system:

  • Reduced use of chemical alkalis thanks to optimized processes
  • Improved working environment thanks to fully automated operation with crane systems and treatment time programming
  • High process reliability thanks to state-of-the-art system technology

With this investment, we are combining ecological responsibility with industrial efficiency. The reduced consumption of water and chemicals demonstrates how technological innovation, resource conservation, and quality standards are interconnected – and how we are making our production processes even more sustainable step by step.
