We supply precisely manufactured aluminium components for modern sliding and panoramic roofs – from edging frames to complex guide rails. These are central functional elements of the roof kinematics and make a decisive contribution to the performance and durability of the system. apt manufactures custom-fit profiles and processes them further in sophisticated processes: a high-quality, ready-to-install component is created by curving, embossing, punching, milling, deburring, and anodizing. Our services range from co-engineering and production to packaging and just-in-time logistics – all from a single source, in responsible project work.

Thanks to our expertise in materials technology and flexible production, we create individual components. Production-ready solutions for OEMs
We manufacture functionally relevant aluminium components for convertible roofs for well-known OEMs – including clamping and retaining brackets that meet the highest requirements in terms of weight, strength, and dimensional accuracy. Specially developed aluminium profiles are sawn, bent, milled, drilled, and stretch-bent to produce ready-to-install components – reliably and reproducibly in series. Surface finishing by anodizing or powder coating is carried out directly in our factory – for maximum efficiency and quality from a single source.
Structural Components
Our aluminium solutions for structural components combine high strength with low weight – ideal for load-bearing elements in vehicle construction. Whether crash management systems, sills, or cross members: we develop and manufacture precise profiles that enhance safety and efficiency. The automotive industry is undergoing a paradigm shift: climate targets, lightweight construction, and the circular economy are shaping the development of modern vehicles. The goal is to reduce emissions along the entire supply chain. Our aluminium solutions contribute to this – by using low-carbon materials and resource-efficient production.
At our remelting facility in Monheim, we process our internal process scrap and return it to the production cycle as new round billets. In addition, we source primary aluminium produced in Europe using renewable energy sources such as geothermal energy and hydropower.
This enables OEMs and suppliers to consistently implement their sustainability strategies – and together, we make a joint contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions throughout the automotive value chain.
