As one of the leading aluminum processing groups in Europe, we have a special responsibility to contribute to the European Green Deal. Conserving resources and reducing emissions is thus a top priority for apt. On the way to Net Zero CO2, we clearly alignwith the goals and time horizon of the 2030 Agenda, where the global community has set itself 17 goals – the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), for a socially, economically and ecologically sustainable world.
As part of our proactive environmental, energy and quality management, we control – internally and externally – the sustainable use of the resources. For example, we comply with international quality and environmental standards for the design and manufacture of our products. We are also a member of the internationally recognized Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) and produce an annual sustainability report.
